What to Expect
A dramatically curvy body is the essence of femininity, and feeling like you fall short of that ideal can be frustrating. A Brazilian butt lift can redefine your silhouette and accentuate your figure by restoring a full, sensuous appearance below the waistline.
Not every woman is a candidate for a Brazilian butt lift, so it’s important to schedule a consultation with Dr. Truong. During this appointment, he can perform a physical evaluation in order to determine the approach that’s best for helping you meet your personal goals. For example, many women want to combine getting breast implants
with a Brazilian butt lift to enhance a natural hourglass shape.
Dr. Truong will also advise you on the best location from which to harvest the fat cells for transfer. This may be the low abdomen, inner thighs or hips, depending on your anatomy and personal preference. You’ll also receive detailed instructions to follow before and after surgery, and tips for enjoying an optimum recovery.
Preparing for Your Brazilian Butt Lift
A Brazilian butt lift really consists of two parts. First, Dr. Truong performs liposuction
to collect living fat cells. Next, the cells are purified before transferring them to the bottom via carefully layered injections for smooth, rounded contours. The entire surgery takes around 2 or more hours, depending on factors such as how much liposuction needs to be performed and whether other procedures are included at the same time. However, you can plan to return home the same day as your surgery.
Recovery & Results
It’s common to feel sore after your Brazilian butt lift, especially in the donor areas where liposuction was performed. It’s important not to sit immediately after surgery, as prolonged sitting could negatively impact your results. Once the fat cells have developed a blood supply in their new location, you can expect your new look to be long lasting.
